Nyeri Hill Farm is one of Kenya's oldest coffee estates. Established by the Catholic Archdiocese of Nyeri in 1904 at the foot of Mt. Kenya, coffee was first introduced to the estate by the Consolata Missionaries in 1914.
It has remained in continuous operation for over a century. The historic wet and dry mills, built in 1934, are still fully functional and continue to process coffee today.
For more than a hundred years, Nyeri Hill has been one of the largest employers in Nyeri County, with coffee revenues supporting livelihoods, education and healthcare across the surrounding community.
Grown between 1,700 and 1,900 metres and fully washed, it brings together SL28, SL34, Ruiru II and Batian for a cup that is rich and refined — and performs beautifully both black and with milk.
