Ritesh Doshi bought Spring Valley Coffee in 2018. Empowered by his belief in the power of incredible coffee, he brought purpose, people & planet together to transform Kenya’s original specialty coffee roaster into Africa's first BCorp-certified coffee roastery.Prior to Spring Valley Coffee, Ritesh founded Naked Pizza Kenya (a business he later sold to Pizza Hut) - in the process revolutionizing Nairobi’s food delivery sector and setting a benchmark for customer service in the industry.Before becoming an entrepreneur, he worked inprivate equity & investment banking in the US, Europe and Middle East for global financial institutions such as Credit Suisse & HSBC and holds a degree in Management from the London School of Economics.Ritesh has served on numerous corporate and non-profit (Entrepreneurs’ Organization) boards, and has been featured on television, radio and print media, including CNN, CNBC, Forbes, The Economist & Monocle. When he is not drinking a flat white at one of his cafes, Ritesh is often found reading, or training for his next marathon or walking his dogs in Karura Forest, Nairobi.
